Our Thursday eucharist at 10.30am includes a time of teaching and discussion followed by coffee. It’s a warm, friendly time that acts as a breath in a busy week.
St Saviour’s is here to offer prayers and Holy Communion to people in the parish who are unable to come to church. If you are unwell or would like to talk to the Revd Chris Lee, Alice Ormondroyd (our ordinand), or anyone in our ministry team, please contact the parish office.
We are called to be a people of prayer. Jesus himself said, ‘My Father's house will be called a house of prayer.’ With this in mind, we have occasional special prayer events running in church, including occasional 24 hours of prayer, where members of the church are praying in our chapel every hour for 24 hours. To find out more about our prayer life, keep an eye out for upcoming events.
We also offer prayer ministry during the 11am Sunday service, or you can ask Chris Lee for prayer after any service.
Connect groups are our Bible study and fellowship groups. They are a key area for any growing Christian. The groups meet fortnightly in term time to build lasting friendships, make mature disciples, and grow spiritually. We’d love to help you find the right connect group for you, so please get in touch with Chris Lee about this.
