Meet some of the members of our team at St Saviour’s.

Chris Lee, vicar

Chris became priest in charge at St Saviour’s in 2015, and was made vicar in his third year here. Chris is active on Instagram, and hosts a podcast, Come Read with Me, where he reads and discusses the Bible with guest hosts. Read more about Chris.

Simon Jenkins, churchwarden

Simon, one of our churchwardens, is a writer and the author of several books, including The Bible from Scratch, a guide to the Bible using cartoons, and Windows into Heaven, on the icons and spirituality of the Eastern Church.

Lauren McKenna, children’s champion

Lauren McKenna, our children’s champion, is a qualified primary school teacher with several years’ experience teaching in schools, and in nurseries during her training.

Gregory Pennington, treasurer

Gregory, our treasurer, oversees and manages the church finances. Professionally he works as a strategy consultant and has been living in the UK since 2020.
