Chris Lee, our vicar, was a guest on Good Morning Britain on Christmas Eve. Chris has almost 125,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly posts 60 second sermons and encouragements for people to know they are loved, precious and not alone, because God is with them.

‘Over the last year it’s snowballed,’ he says, ‘and I’ve suddenly found myself being asked loads of questions from all over the world. People have been following me, direct-messaging me, and sharing their issues and their problems. I’ve been trying to give young people a message of hope, love and encouragement, and I’ve been awestruck by how it’s been growing.’

‘People often ask me, how do I become a Christian?’ says Chris. ‘And I tell them, read Mark’s Gospel, say a prayer – it’s about conversation with God – and then find a local church. I try to say to people, slow down, and know that you’re valued and precious.’
